About our privacy policy

Dr. Renier L. N.P. BVBA cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data will always be processed in accordance with the applicable legislation, such as the applicable privacy legislation and the legislation on patient protection.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Dr. Renier L. N.P. BVBA. Consultation system

The consultation system is completely tailor-made, with the development taking into account both Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default. Appropriate technical and organizational measures have been taken to ensure the security of your personal data. These include but are not restrictive: correct use of role-based access controls, regular backups, logging control, pseudonymisation and encryption. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services are not shared with any third party, unless otherwise explained in this privacy policy. If this information is shared with a third party, they will never use your data for any purpose other than the one indicated when initially collecting the data. The third party is obliged to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption, a strong password policy, and other technical and organizational measures.

Webhosting

We use web hosting and e-mail services from Combel. Combel processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this third party can collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Combel has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Combel is obliged to observe secrecy on the grounds of the agreement.

We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the service you are provided. We do not use your data for (direct) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later date - other than at your request - we will ask for your explicit consent. In principle, in order to prevent abuse, we will copies of your data only to your already known e-mail address. We keep records of completed requests, in the case of a request to be forgotten we administer anonymous data. You will receive all copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.

If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address that is known to us, stating that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.

You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.
