Specialization in psychiatry at the University Centre Kortenberg, '91, with a year of neurology at the OLV Hospital Aalst.

Additional training for behavioral psychotherapy and a recognized member of the Flemish Association for behavioural therapy.

I've been working as a psychiatrist for 25 years and as chief psysician at the Psychiatric Centre Menen. Consequently I have acquired extensive experience in the treatment of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), and substance abuse.

The treatment is initiated in conjunction with the patient, depending on the individual needs. This from a biomedical mindset, plus physiotherapeutic and behavioral elements (behavioral training completed, a member of the Flemish Association for Behavioural Therapy).

In addition, I've been working several years as a coordinating doctor of the ambulant emergency assistance of Menen, called Impact.
